Settlement Project Regions Keep the Candle Burning During the Holidays

During Christmas and the holiday season, Settlement Project regions in both Ohio, and the Mid-Atlantic hosted warm, family meetings where friends, staff and members could meet, enjoy each other's company, reflect on our efforts and successes in 2023, and look ahead to this hugely important year of 2024.

During Christmas and the holiday season, Settlement Project regions in both Ohio, and the Mid-Atlantic hosted warm, family meetings where friends, staff and members could meet, enjoy each other’s company, reflect on our efforts and successes in 2023, and look ahead to this hugely important year of 2024.

The Columbus, Ohio team hosted a quaint Christmas and Holiday Gathering at the Yokoso Cultural Center with Settlement Projects friends December 19, 2023. We want to express our ongoing and continued thanks to Yokoso Center for their years-long, unwavering support for The Settlement Project. Once again their hospitality and the food was superb and abundant. The Columbus team also thanks Wayne Strautman for offering lovely piano, Christmas music throughout our time of celebration.

The Mid-Atlantic Chapter also hosted a family holiday gathering on Saturday, December 2, 2023, for fifteen regional leaders and activist patriots in Northern Virginia gathered at the home of Carl and Grazyna Hagen.

These meetings are meant as a way of saying thanks to our fellow patriots for their constant participation and reliable support for Settlement Project efforts in the region and to let them know that by God’s grace we are growing and making a difference.

The Virginia day was especially blessed thanks to the participation of patriot legend Richard Viguerie, the renowned “Funding-Father” of political direct marketing in America. Mr. Viguerie enlightened guests with an engaging and informative talk. Those present received signed copies of his new book Go Big, The Marketing Secrets of Richard A. Viguerie. Richard was introduced by Ms. Mary Elizabeth (Emmy) Lewis, president of Lewis Company Marketing Communications, regarded as the voice of President Ronald Reagan in direct mail during his two-terms in office.

Old friend of the Reagan effort was also on hand,  Mr. Tom McDevitt, Chairman of the board of directors, The Washington Times, and recently appointed member of The Settlement Project’s board of trustees, Mr. John Dickson was also on hand for the festivities of the day.
